LI Haoyang is a dancer, choreographer, and is the founder of the JuuSho” physical training program.

When it comes to silver hair, my grandma and Sakamoto Ryūichi came to mind.. One is an 80 something years old village woman, and the other an internationally well known artist. What do they have in common?

I know now: what moves me is that both of them take their own life seriously. Every day, my grandma would comb her hair neatly and arranges her own itinerary – who to meet, where to go, when to rest, etc. She is wide awake and conscious and knows exactly what she needs to do every day.Sakamoto Ryūichi is the kind of person I like.

He once said something that really moved me, “Remember to look at the moon every day” Hmm.. When do we forget to look up at the moon? In what kind of mood would we be if we gazed at the moon?

These days I’m working on “JuuSho”, which means hands up, a physical training program that combines awareness, restoration, and dancing. It’s a course that uses movement exercise to develop the body potential and learn to be at ease. The practice is mainly focused on body awareness, restoration, movement control, body language, development
