My favorite cities are Rome, for “la dolce vita,” street life, monuments, paintings in churches, fancy food; and New York, for its unceasing hectic atmosphere, its fashion work, New Yorkers who never waste time (they’re pros!), the Met art museum and its enriching, always varied exhibitions I’ve been a fan of opera since the age of eight, when I went to it for the first
time. (It’s required viewing in Vienna!) I also like the theater. For me, a good evening is a trip to the theater or opera and then a good restaurant. I am also passionate about sailing. My ex-husband, who is from Brittany, is a very good sailor and we’ve explored the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas and the Indian Ocean in our sailboat.
