My favorite cities are New York, Singapore and Barcelona. It’s hard to describe what I like most about them. It’s simply that feeling you get when some city fills you, its visual appearance, people, hospitality, relaxation and lifestyle, all combined together.
When travelling, besides visiting the “famous places” in a city and perhaps some of the standard locations, I always like to find an interesting restaurant or café and enjoy the food and good wine. I try to get “lost” in the streets that are not always “for tourists,” because the city’s true spirit is hidden there.
